Returns

Journey Perfect Sleep Chair & Lift Chair orders delivered directly to residential addresses are not eligible for return, even if new or unused. Used products are not returnable. Applicable manufacturer warranty remedies remain available for covered defects.

For other eligible new or unused orders:

Returns must be made within 30 days of the invoice date; items are not returnable after 30 days. A 15% restocking fee applies. You pay return freight. Original invoiced freight charges are nonrefundable. The product must be unused, in its original condition and original box or packaging. Prior return authorization is required. The authorized RMA number must appear clearly on the outside carton or shipping label. Unauthorized returns are refused; processing, handling, and return-shipping costs for unauthorized returns are not covered. Contact Bright Stride Living to arrange an eligible return or report a defect. Covered defects may be addressed through repair parts, replacement, or an authorized return and credit, as determined by Journey under the applicable warranty.

For delivery damage, inspect all sides and cartons before signing, record damage on the delivery receipt or shipping paperwork, and photograph the damaged product. Accept the shipment even if damaged and contact Bright Stride Living promptly so the damage can be reported within 5 business days of delivery. An RMA and carrier inspection or pickup may be arranged. A replacement order may be billed pending the carrier's findings and any resulting credit. Original freight charges are not credited; replacement freight is free.

Warranty

Limited coverage applies to the original purchaser and differs by configuration.

Deluxe Plus 2-Zone

Frame, lift and recline mechanisms and electrical parts: 3 years against defects, with 1 year of replacement labor coverage. Valid in all 50 U.S. states.

Deluxe 5-Zone

Structural frame/lift/recline components: lifetime of the chair for the original consumer, with labor subsidized for 3 years. Electrical parts: 3 years, with labor subsidized for 1 year. Electrical replacement parts receive discounts from suggested retail price in years 4–7: 35%, 25%, 15% and 5%, respectively. These later years are prorated discounts, not free replacement coverage.

Batteries are excluded on both models. Journey approval is required before service. Journey chooses repair or replacement of qualifying defective parts. Misuse, abuse, overloading, improper service, transit or handling damage and unauthorized changes or repairs are excluded. Examination, transportation, handling, packaging and unnecessary service calls are not automatically covered. Replacement upholstery shading is not guaranteed; accessory coverage does not inherit the longest structural term. Contact Bright Stride Living to arrange a claim.
