Description
Description
Four positions in one familiar place
The Journey UPbed Standard combines a flat sleeping surface, sit-up bed, chair position and powered lift. Its articulated frame changes the bed around different moments of the day, from reading upright to resting flat and moving toward a standing transfer.
Separate head and foot adjustment
Two motors provide independent head and foot adjustment through a six-button wired remote. The control also provides lift and Flat functions, keeping the core positioning choices together without a wireless handset to recharge.
A mattress and rails included
A 6-inch memory-foam mattress and padded bedrails come with the motorized frame as a matched package. The rails provide the documented bedside structure; they do not establish fall-proof protection or universal suitability for transfers.
Twin or Twin XL
The Twin measures 75 inches long and the Twin XL 80 inches; both are 38 inches wide and 23 inches high. The rated capacity is up to 600 lbs with evenly distributed loading and single-user occupancy. A Matte Black frame and Charcoal color complete the package.
Emergency power-down, clearly defined
One included 9V backup battery supports return to the Flat position during a power outage. That backup serves emergency repositioning rather than ordinary cordless operation or a promised lift-to-standing movement without mains power.
Sleeping and positioning in one coordinated package
The UPbed Standard brings together motorized positioning, a matched mattress and powered lift movement for a bedroom where those functions belong in the same place. Two length options and separate head/foot adjustment help organize the sleep surface around daily routines; transfer assistance still depends on the individual and their support needs.
