Description
Description
Two ways to bring the Zoomer along
The Journey Zoomer combines one-handed joystick control with a frame that folds for storage and separates for vehicle transport. From a family visit to an afternoon of shopping, its transport options make powered mobility easier to bring into your plans.
The complete chair weighs 39.7 lbs with its battery. With the battery removed and frame separated, the heaviest piece is 19 lbs, reducing the weight handled in a single lift. The folded chair can also roll behind you like luggage.
Steer with your preferred hand
The joystick controls direction and speed from one hand, with five speed levels and left- or right-side mounting. A horn and battery display keep useful controls together, while electromagnetic brakes engage when the joystick returns to neutral in Drive mode.
A footrest that moves aside
The patented floating footrest moves out of the way for entry and exit. A padded seat and breathable mesh backrest support everyday sitting, whether you are spending time at the table or heading to an appointment.
Range for everyday outings
The included removable lithium-ion battery provides up to 9.3 miles per charge, with a maximum speed of 3.7 mph. Actual range depends on rider weight, terrain, conditions, battery status, and driving habits. A charger is included, with charging taking approximately 4.5 hours.
Made for dry, smooth routes
The Zoomer is suited to indoor floors, smooth sidewalks, and paved paths. Its manual excludes wet or icy conditions, sand, gravel, high grass, and rough or uneven ground. The published incline rating is 12°, while the manual limits operation to 10°. Rear anti-tip wheels are part of its design.
Journey classifies the Zoomer as a personal electric vehicle, not a medical device. It is not intended for someone fully restricted to a seated position. Airline compatibility depends on the installed battery and the airline's acceptance and handling requirements.
Portable mobility with flexible handling
The combination of a separable frame, folding storage, and reversible joystick placement makes the Zoomer a practical fit when loading weight and preferred-hand control matter together. Its movable footrest adds useful access at everyday stops, with dry, smooth routes forming the basis for regular outings.

A carbon-fiber frame that folds for the journeyThe Journey Air Elite Max combines a folding carbon-fiber frame with joystick-controlled mobility for home, visits and paved outings. Its nominal 24.25 lb frame weight excludes batteries and cushions, so the complete chair is heavier. Lifting ability and available cargo space still shape everyday transport. Two batteries, fewer exchangesThe two included 24V / 12Ah lithium batteries provide up to 19.8 miles of combined range. Automatic switching moves between batteries without a manual exchange during the outing. Actual range varies with the surface and operating conditions; that dual-battery figure does not apply to one-battery travel. Control that stays close at handThe joystick controls direction and proportional speed, with five settings up to 3.7 mph. A controller display brings speed, mileage and battery information together, while USB charging adds a useful everyday convenience. Seating and access for everyday stopsIncluded memory-foam cushions sit on a 17.7-inch-wide seat. Flip-up armrests and folding footrests move out of the way for access, while a backrest pouch keeps small essentials nearby. Flat-free tires remove routine inflation needs. Portable mobility with a clear purposeThe Air Elite Max brings together a lightweight folding frame, automatic dual-battery operation and compact joystick controls for smooth, dry routes. That combination suits outings where transport and time between battery exchanges matter, while its surface restrictions keep it focused on everyday paved mobility. |
A folding chair for everyday destinationsThe Journey Air 2026 puts joystick-controlled mobility into a folding aluminum frame. It supports up to 300 lbs and is designed for smooth indoor floors and level paved outdoor areas, from moving through the home to appointments and visits. Charging that fits around your spaceThe supplied 24V / 10Ah lithium battery provides up to 10 miles per charge. It can charge through the controller or directly when removed, so the whole chair does not need to stay beside an outlet. Battery removal reduces nominal chair weight from 42 to 39 lbs. Controls on the side that suits youA left- or right-positioned joystick handles direction and proportional speed. Five speed-limit settings reach up to approximately 3.7 mph, while the battery indicator, horn and reversing alarm keep key functions close at hand. USB charging adds a convenient place to power a small device. Cushioning, access and storageMemory-foam cushions accompany the 17.32-inch-wide seat. Flip-up armrests move aside for access, and the backrest pouch provides storage for small essentials. Flat-free wheels remove routine tire inflation without extending the chair to rough or loose terrain. An everyday chair with flexible chargingThe Air 2026 combines folding storage, removable-battery charging and adaptable joystick placement in a chair focused on smooth, dry routes. It offers a useful balance for daily mobility and occasional vehicle transport, with a battery-free lifting weight of 39 lbs. |
Two-handed control for everyday movementThe Journey Zinger is a folding personal electric vehicle with two-lever steering and braking. Full use of both hands and arms is required. It is not a medical device or a wheelchair intended to provide medical mobility for someone restricted to sitting. Three forward speed rangesForward settings provide ranges of 0–1, 0–3, and 0–6 mph, with the low range intended for indoor use. Reverse is limited to 0–1 mph and straight-line movement. Its 24" turning radius applies at low speed; turning space increases with speed. Braking is controlled manually through the levers, with separate parking brakes. A folding frame for storage and transportThe aluminum and nylon-composite frame folds using a single release cable and can roll while folded. It weighs 42 lbs with the standard battery or 38 lbs without it. The folded chair remains one transport item, so loading may still require assistance. Seating with room for essentialsA 19" seat width, foam cushion, mesh seating, and under-seat basket support everyday seated use and space for small belongings. The seat has no adjustments, while lever reach is adjustable. The swing-away footplate provides access, but is not a weight-bearing transfer platform. A removable battery for flexible chargingThe 36V/6.6Ah lithium-ion battery is removable and lockable, with charging available on or off the chair. Advertised range is up to 8 miles under flat, continuous conditions; the manual describes 5–6 miles as typical outdoor range. The selected configuration uses a brushless 240W motor. Airline acceptance depends on the actual battery and the carrier's requirements. Designed around dry everyday routesThe Zinger brings together two-handed lever control, three forward speed ranges, and a frame that rolls while folded. Adjustable lever reach, an included under-seat basket, and a battery that charges on or off the chair add practical convenience between outings. This combination suits someone who wants direct control over steering and braking, compact storage, and powered travel around shops and dry, paved surroundings. Full use of both hands and arms is essential to that fit. |
A lighter chair for everyday outingsThe Journey Air Elite combines a carbon fiber folding frame with one-handed joystick control for moving around home, browsing shops, and visiting friends. It weighs 26 lbs without the battery, with a 240-lb weight capacity. Its intended outdoor use is on dry, level paved surfaces. Folding storage with a removable batteryThe frame folds for vehicle transport and storage. Removing the battery reduces the weight from 29.08 lbs to 26 lbs, although loading still depends on the person lifting it. The battery can charge separately, so the chair can remain stored while the battery is brought indoors. Joystick control on either sideThe directional joystick can be installed on either armrest to suit your preferred control hand. Speed selection, reverse, a horn, and a battery indicator are on the controller. Automatic electronic braking engages when the joystick is released. Manual pushing is limited to an unoccupied chair. Seating access and flat-free tiresThe 17.3" seat width and flip-up armrests define the seating space and allow access from the side. The armrests are not weight-bearing transfer supports. Flat-free front and rear tires eliminate routine tire inflation, and rear anti-tippers are included. The chair is intended for indoor areas and level pavement rather than grass, gravel, hills, or wet conditions. Power for appointments and time togetherA removable 24V/10Ah lithium battery provides an advertised range of up to 10 miles per charge. Actual range varies with surface and operating habits. Two brushless motors power the chair, with maximum speed below 3.7 mph. Airline carriage remains subject to the actual battery label and the carrier's acceptance requirements. A folding power chair with lifting weight in focusThe Air Elite’s defining combination is a carbon fiber frame weighing 26 lbs without its battery, one-handed joystick control, and automatic electronic braking. It brings powered movement around home and level paved destinations into a chair designed to fold for storage and transport. A joystick that mounts on either side, flip-up armrests, and charging with the battery installed or removed add everyday flexibility. It is a strong fit when transport weight and convenient controls are central to the decision. |
